Clark has been steadily building her solo exhibitions since 2006 as she probes the thin place between the seen world and what lies beyond. Her work dwells in the metaphors of mythology, religion, and cats while dealing with the deep pressures brought to bear on life, especially in its feminine aspects. Described as “passionate, brave, honest, and immediate,” Clark’s art seeks the equilibrium between sorrow and beauty, dissonance and peace. She is oriented increasingly towards abstract work and continues to experiment in multiple mediums.
