The artist in the time of Covid. Photo, Aaron Johanson

Clark’s work dives into her experience of the world around her and the spirituality that lies both within and beyond that. Prior to being a full-time artist, she founded and administered a year-round literacy-based program matching high school students as tutors with children who were non-native English speakers, and was also the owner of a graphic design business for ten years. Oriented towards abstraction in drawing and painting, Clark also continues to experiment with multi-media installations, especially concerning social and political issues.
