Please join me and Angennette Escobar for the opening of our show “Signs and Symbols” at Blackfish Gallery, in which we explore tools for navigating the space between the physical and spiritual worlds. Our show is ambitious in its range, exploring the confluence of the Roman Catholic church and the indigenous belief systems of Mexico, all the way to traditional Byzantine icons. We’ve gone deep into the intersection between storytelling and the divine, and we’re thrilled to share with you what we’ve discovered.
