Myra Clark makes work driven by observation, imagination, color, and materials. Known for her wide range of practice, her art is centered in drawing, abstract painting, creating installations focused on social justice issues, and iconography. She has exhibited locally and regionally since 2006, and her work was recently included in the exhibit, “Even in June,” at the Canopy Studio in Chelsea, NYC. She has studied intensively at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, Portland Community College, the New York Studio and the New York Crit Club. Clark is represented by Blackfish Gallery, where she has been a member/owner for 6 years. Clark lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
